Monitor for incidents and maintenance on your service.

We publish the Tanzu Observability (formerly known as VMware Aria Operations for Applications) service operational status and maintenance schedules to the VMware Cloud Services page on the Broadcom Service Status portal. For confidentiality reasons, the individual customer clusters are listed with alias names.

Find Your Cluster Alias Name

To see the status of your Tanzu Observability service instance, you must get the alias name of your cluster.
  1. Log in to your service instance and click the gear icon on the toolbar.
  2. Under VMware Status Page, see your cluster alias name.

View the Status of Your Service

To check whether your service is fully operational or it's undergoing maintenance, you can visit the VMware Cloud Services page on the Broadcom Service Status portal.
  1. In a web browser, go to https://status.broadcom.com/services/vmware-cloud-services.
  2. Expand VMware Taznu > Tanzu Observability.

    The status icon next to your cluster alias name shows the status of your service instance.

Subscribe for Status Updates

You can subscribe to receive notifications for incidents and scheduled maintenance of your service.
  1. In a web browser, go to https://status.broadcom.com/services/vmware-cloud-services.
  2. In the top-right corner, click Subscribe, enter your email address, and click Start subscription.

    We send you an email with a sign-in link.

  3. Go to your email and click the Sign in to Broadcom Service Status link.

    You are now logged in to the Broadcom Service Status portal.

  4. Expand VMware Taznu > Tanzu Observability and locate your cluster alias name.
  5. Click the bell-off icon or the bell icon to subscribe or unsubscribe for notifications about incidents and scheduled maintenance of your service instance.
  6. In the top-right corner, click Save Changes.
  7. To select the notification method that you want to use, click the vertical ellipsis in the top-right corner, select Preferences, make your configurations, and click Done.
